The north coast has its own unique scent: it's the aroma of the sea mingling with the rocks, the fragrance of myrtle bushes shaken by the wind, the smell of vineyards, grazing animals, rockrose, and strawberry tree, all of which you'll find in the local dishes and wines.
Here, turquoise waters meet white sands, and steep cliffs rise proudly against a backdrop of emerald green hills.
Prepare to be captivated by the enchanting beauty of this stretch of Mediterranean coastline.

La Marinedda
(2,9 km, 5 min. car)
Its spectacular sand dunes are nestled between the cliffs of Isola Rossa and Punta Li Canneddi.
La Marinedda will strike you with the contrast between the shades of its crystal-clear waters, the brightness of its sand, and the red granite of the imposing rocks with their varied shapes.
It is part of the same stretch of coast as Longa beach, which belongs to the picturesque fishing village of Isola Rossa.

Spiaggia longa Isola Rossa
(2,5 km, 4 min. car)
Enchanting porphyry cliffs embrace a village, once a fishing village, now a tourist destination in the territory of Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola. The landscape is picture-perfect, the name derives from Isola Rossa (Red Island), a small island that stands 500 meters from the coast. Houses and sea are separated by a long stretch of soft sand with a delicate color, with golden reflections and pebbles near the shore: it is called Spiaggia Longa (Long Beach).

Li Feruli
(3,2 km, 7 min. car)
After a picturesque descent of about five minutes, you reach the beach. To the right, you walk on fine golden sand until you reach the kiosks, which in addition to providing refreshments, offer a rental service for sunbeds and umbrellas. Continuing on, you reach the end of this long stretch, and the rocks that emerge form calm and transparent pools of water in which to bathe.
Here space and freedom dominate, as the beach is always uncrowded even in the months of July and August.

Costa Rossa
The striking red rocks overlooking the sea and the numerous trails allow those who love walking, hiking or mountain biking to venture into nature; at every corner the sea will give you splendid scenery!

Li Junchi
(6,7 km, 12 min. car)
Unlike the eastern side of Isola Rossa, characterized by countless granite coves, the western coast shows a completely different scenario, with a long and wide white beach of 11 km that takes different names along its route: Li Junchi is the stretch west of Li Feruli, followed by Badesi Mare, Baia delle Mimose, Valledoria until you reach the mouth of the Coghinas river where the beach takes the name of San Pietro a Mare.
Given its size, the beach is never crowded and allows both free camping even with pets and the rental of deckchairs and umbrellas at the kiosks that are found along it, which offer lunch and shelter from the sun during the hottest hours, and fantastic aperitifs from late afternoon onwards.

Costa Paradiso

From its small harbor you can reach the wild beach of Tinnari with an hourly service by dinghy.

Li Cossi
(15,5 km, 19 min. car)

Wild nature, a place of great charm, Li Cossi is one of the most beautiful and fascinating beaches in northern Sardinia, the pearl of Costa Paradiso.

Cala Tinnari
(15,5 km, 19 min. car)
A magnificent oasis of peace and relaxation, full of charm and colors, rarely crowded even in summer.
Li Tinnari is a solitary cove immersed in jagged rocks and Mediterranean scents in the spectacular stretch of sea between Costa Paradiso and Isola Rossa, at the extreme western limit of Gallura, on the border with Anglona.
Its easy-to-climb rocks for diving and its seabed with deep underwater canyons populated by various species of fish make this beach a must for the more adventurous tourists.
You can reach the beach with two different paths (one easier and longer, the other more challenging but more scenic) or be ferried by Stefano with departures from the port of Costa Paradiso.
San Pietro a Mare
(17 km, 24 min. car)
The scenery is stunning thanks to the chromatic contrast between the very light sand and the double blue expanse of the river and the sea.
It is one of the stretches of the Asinara gulf preferred by water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers who come here from all over Europe.
The town of Valledoria behind it offers various attractions in summer to spend pleasant evenings.

Cala Sarraina
(21 km, 23 min. car)
Cala Sarraina is a splendid pristine cove located a few kilometers from Costa Paradiso.
The bay is worth visiting on clear days with calm winds where the seabed shows itself through the absolutely crystalline water.
Don't miss the evocative sunsets, when the sea is silent and the rocks are inflamed with shades ranging from pink to orange to red.
To the west of the main beach there are some solitary coves while, in an easterly direction, a path follows the deserted and unspoiled coast.
Vignola mare
(26,5 km, 27 min. car)
Separated by a rock and the mouth of a river, two splendid "sister" beaches stretch along the same coastline in northern Sardinia, each with its own peculiarities.

Castelsardo
(27 km, 29 min. car)
Castelsardo is a medieval stronghold built at the end of the 13th century, characterized by nature, history, artisan and religious traditions.
Today it is part of the exclusive Club of the most beautiful villages in Italy and maintains intact the noble pose of a fortified lordship, thanks to the ramparts and steep stairs.
Rena Majori
(38 km, 37 min. car)
After passing a shady pine forest, you reach Rena Majori, a strip of white and impalpable sand that plunges into a sea of enchanting colors, with an edge made of dark rocks and light granite rocks.
The sea, made of celestial and blue brushstrokes, creates, among the rocks, small "magnet" pools for children. In addition to being gently sloping and suitable for bathing for less experienced swimmers, the seabed of Rena Majori, varied and rich in fish, is a destination for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts.

Santa Teresa di Gallura
(45 km, 45 min. car)
The foundation plan of the seaside village was designed by Vittorio Emanuele I in 1808. Today it is a renowned seaside resort that stretches 1 on a rocky plateau in a stretch of jagged coastline.
In its territory there are inlets with beaches of light and soft sand and coves of granite rocks shaped by the wind, true inimitable "pearls" of northern Sardinia.
Not to be missed, in addition to the numerous beaches, is the path that leads from Capo Testa to Valle della Luna (Valley of the Moon)!
Costa Smeralda
(73 km, 1 h. and 10 min. car)
It's famous worldwide for its emerald-green sea, its squares bustling with social life, and its high-quality services. It is the most exclusive resort in northeastern Sardinia.
Luxury residences, sparkling nightlife, select boutiques, aperitifs, and elegant evenings, this is the most exclusive place for relaxation and vacation on the island.
Its architecture is characteristic, made up of small, low, white buildings, with sinuous contours and perfectly inserted into the Mediterranean vegetation, such as the church of Stella Maris, designed by Michele Busiri Vici.

Stintino
(87 km, 1 h. and 20 min. car)
Nestled in the extreme northwestern tip of Sardinia, Stintino stretches out towards Asinara, almost touching it. Right there, where it grazes it, it shows its masterpiece, La Pelosa: a clear and very shallow seabed for tens of meters, white sand, dazzling and placid sea with all shades of blue.
Next to the "older sister", there is La Pelosetta, enclosed by a small island surmounted by an Aragonese tower (from 1578), the symbol of La Pelosa. From a "terrace" on the "tropical" beach, two hundred meters high, you will enjoy a unique panorama of the island of Piana and the Asinara national park, uncontaminated and wild.
Alghero
(93 km, 1 h. and 23 min. car)
Hystoric city, known as the capital of the Coral Riviera (home to the largest colony of the finest quality coral), it preserves intact the influences of Catalan domination (in fact it is also called Barceloneta).

Capo Caccia
(103 km, 1 h. and 43 min. car)
